Was Dr. Dre really expecting Knocturnal to blow up off this song?

He wasn't even signed to Dre so Dre just gave him a throwaway beat.

Knoc was dope, he just had a bad run with the album leaking, and then his label folding when they were gearing up to release his actual album. Then he became an alcoholic. Him and Dre had bangers, I still fukk with "I Like" to this day, although Scott Storch gave him a better single in "The Way I Am".

Rumor has it he poured a 40 on Dr. Dre's SSL Board one time while he was drunk... he was banned from Interscope from that day on & any studio under them... :wow:

They might've became cool again one day but that is a "NO NO"... :heh:

:pachaha:

First of all you know what an SSL is so that's a major dap for you :salute: - For everyone else that's a top of the line mixing board that runs into the multiple hundred's of thousands of dollars. Him doing that probably led to the label having to pay out to the studio

Second . . HE DID THAT? :damn:
