I would say, the either by dumb luck, or smarts, DEMOLITION MAN was prophetic to a degree.

• 3 Seashells over Toilet Paper; Hygiene during COVID.
• Numerous Virus that popped up.
• Sex being more Virtual; VR Headsets are a thing now.
• Depending on viewpoints, a Society that is more civilized, but also controlled by the higher ups.

All we really need is Cryoprisons (which will become a thing once, and if we master Stasis technology) and a big Earthquake in California.

The coli put me on the movie a few summers back & I enjoyed it. I think it was the comparison of Snipes being on the Joker level & I fully agreed cause I found myself rooting for him. Campy? Sure but it’s def on the level as being a marvel-esque tier action movie.

I have always wanted to see more of this world that these two titans lived in back in their 1994. I would pay money to see Simon Phoenix on his road to taking over part of L.A.. So much so that the damned post man refused to drop by.

Not quite. The evil pope wanted to get rid of Edgar Friendly/Dennis Leary. He saw all of the people underground as scum and wanted them to die because they didn't bend the knee. So he programmed Phoenix to be a monster and kill Friendly to "set things right."

Bringing Stallone out was the cops idea because they read about who brought Phoenix in. They thought he would be the best man for the job.

I know this is a movie , but I wouldn’t be suprised if this is close to being a thing in real life(not sure if they would waste it on prisoners ).So what was the purpose of the cryoprison? Prison is supposed to rehabilitate you and sit you down for commiting crimes . If you can go to sleep for 100 years and wake up for parole , is that really rehabilitation ?

@Made Man That's EXACTLY how it works. They put mental probes on your temples and while you sleep it corrects your negative behaviors. That's why Stallone woke up and he had the urge to knit a scarf. Simon Phoenix was given negatives that made he stronger, faster, better, so him would be an even more efficient psychopath.
