When he starts playing well again all the criticism will go away. He's been garbage this season

It obviously is

Like I said in another thread, no one is talking about the prior two #1 pick quarterbacks regressing. One had a 5000 yard and 40 TD season last year.

That and people want to be on some, "yeah I got it right" based on their Pre-draft views last year.

And if Cam had the talent around him Stafford has, we wouldn't be talking about Cam
Stafford is having a much worse season based on what he has around him

seriously tho where are all the people bashing stafford ? this is a guy who was said to be near top 5 for that performance and has the top WR in the game. and this is a guy whos in his 4th year and whose stats are bad, especially if you subtract garbage time stats.

I think cam deserves *some* of the criticism, but the media is waging an all out war on him. like I say, football became a ridiculously reactionary sport, partially cuz of the media. they were on his dikk last year, now they hate him. how retarded is that ?

Nobody outside of Lions fans and people who went to UGA while he was here cares about whether Stafford succeeds or fails. When he came out the sentiment of alot of people who went here(myself included) was that he should have stayed.

Nobody talked about him college because he was overshadowed by Tebow. He was even overshadowed last year by Tebow nonsense and the typical Brady,Rodgers,Brees,Eli circle jerk and the fact that Peyton missed the season.

He was never really in the public eye.

This is retarded logic...
Stafford was #1 pick and Bradford was the #1 pick and Heisman trophy winner..

Cam's "hype" was always fueled by hate..

Not all number 1 picks are created equal. Some may have potential to be future goats(Cam) and others are just going to be solid starters at best(Stafford and Bradford)

Who was expecting great things out of one of those two except for maybe some delusional UGA fans?

Nobody gives a shyt about them outside of their respective teams' fanbases.

and here lies the main problem, just like regular p said. people let the personality/non-football shyt get under the microscope. for zero reason.

people dont love or hate him enough to type up tirades when he fails or succeeds.

people have agenda with guys like cam, tebow

be it race, religion, or relationship with the media, whatever....theres agenda involved.

cuz RGIII is more humble and more likeable by media, Im actually quite confident that even if he struggles no one in the media will throw him under the bus like cam.

people who love or hate will manufacture any theory to suit their views.

And to be clear, Eli won the SB in his third year and Romo was undrafted I believe so how could he be a bust?

Calling Cam is a bust is retarded though, and whoever is doing so is just one of those who wanted to see him fail in the first place.

People still ignoring my Josh Freeman post though, there's a black QB who has avoided criticism. What about Tavaris Jackson still having a starting job in 2011?

Charlie Batch is a black QB and he's been a backup in the league for about 50 years now. So there's your black Brunnel

The players mentioned (McNabb, Young, Gerrard) are awful examples used, and they're all out of the league for good reasoning. McNabb doesn't want to be a backup, Gerrard's knee is shot and VY is a headcase for years and started that dream team fiasco.

He was supposed to start and should still be starting now in Seatlle, and that's real. All the T-Jack hate was way overboard.

See, black QBs can't be just serviceable like their white counterparts, they have to be super heroes or else they won't have a starter's job or will be out the league.

Ryan Fitz got paid off of 4 games and Flynn got paid off of 4 hours and how are they doing right now?

Josh Freeman will not receive the heat because one, he is a mulatto(yes that is a factor) and 2, Tampa Bay just got a new coach. If Josh is having a so-so year next year, the wolves will start to circle...trust me

You don't know what you're talking about...

Go back and read every GM and draft analyst's grades and projection for Cam and compare them to Stafford and Bradford..

This notion that Cam was anonymously viewed as the "second coming" is all revisionist history...
