I stopped playing in the middle of Cata. I've been a pally since the Blackwing lair patch. I couldn't take the changes. The holy point system was annoying. TV hit like . We hit like pussies without Wings popped. It's like all we had was one button to press. Wings + hammer of GG.
I almost came back at the end of Cata too. I was planning on trying MoP out, but my old pvp guild broke up and started playing League of Legends. I uninstalled Cata and jumped on a private TBC server. I don't even play that anymore. I've grown out of MMO's.
Back in the day though, . I skipped school for that shyt sometimes.
Remember when everyone on your server was lvl 35-40 and Southshore was the place to pvp? That was back when battlegrounds were just YOUR server. Everyone knew everyone. You could make a name for yourself. I use to run that fukkin server. Best Ret paladin on server pre-bc / bc / wotlk / cata.
Paladin was one of the most overpowered classes pre-bc
I was an elemental shaman when it wasn't cool, but like you said, shyt was so fun once you got the gear. The horde were so behind on my server due to not having paladins.. the shaman call on nefarian was brutal, the pallys call was just a time for the healers to regen mana
Vanilla --> AQ ---> BC was my era... then I jumped ship to Conan.
Went EQ > DAOC > SB > WOW > AOC ... then tried a bunch of F2P Korean shyts then quit MMOs
Enhance Shammy Vanilla - Windfury and my guild let me take the 2handers.
I got burned out after raiding hardcore in WoTLK...ah those were the days...me and my girl ran lock/rogue...arenas were the goat....
These days I log on every once in a while if I wanna kill time, but it's not the same anymore. Anyone can get loot. A lot of the mind games in PVP are gone. Doesn't seem worth it anymore, used to be my favorite shyt to do
You were mad lucky that was hard as shyt to convince a guild to let you take 2h as a shammy...especially competing with the bytchy ass tanks who felt they "deserved it" for standing there and spamming sunder/tc

Age of Conan in the first 2 months was like the GOAT game

but the PVP in age of conan
we all needa play marvel heroes when it comes out
you got time to play WoW but not crop my pictures haha nah just fukking with you
ill just leave this here
Unordinary @ Illidan - Community - World of Warcraft
7 bosses down in naxx 40
up to phase 2 C'thun AQ40
2200+ in 5(maybe 6, cant remember if its 5 or 6) different seasons
dont check the honor kill total achievement
all my dates like The Conqueror should be the first day achievements went into place but when you faction change from Horde to alliance it fukks with the dates
No one played elemental because it required insane gear to hit hard. Anyone who raided was typically restoration because the only raid utility shamans could possibly bring was mana tide totem. I told my guild to go fukk themselves and stayed elemental/resto and they couldn't do shyt about it cuz I was their best shaman healer (and I actually PVPed A LOT). Restoration did NOT hit harder than elemental, that's stupid as hell and their cast time on lightning bolt would be 3 seconds instead of 2 with the elemental talents.
no one played elemental pre bc because resto and ele shared same gear and resto hit harder than ele while having better heals and no one was gonna respec 100 times after raids to go ele which was inferior to resto anyway.
Horde was always ahead of alliance on the servers I played on. in Naxx 40 they both shined better than other classes. For fearlina horde was better because of tremor totem. For Maexxna alliance was better because paladins divine intervention
yo I'm about to slap the shyt out of you breh, don't come on here talking to me about the class I played for 4 years

Naxx was so close to the end of vanilla that they had done a much better job balancing, but if you were raiding during BWL and AQ40 before Nax came out, alliance shyt all over horde.
I played shaman from in beta and from launch breh. I just changed classes in WOTLK and towards the end of TBCI been playing shaman since 2005, its 2013 now bruh... you sure you want to brag about 4 years
