yea they was until the point where blizzard made them damn near unstoppable. Remember those ratchet/stranglethorn battles?
I could sit there for hours and taunt dudes. I would sit just right outside the guards reach and watch lower lvl allies cry and beg to let them through...

Pallies right now are fukking hard to kill. Soon as im bursting on one they pop bubble. I actually had to narrow my burst down to 3 separate macros because of fukking Pallies. Them and MW Monks are the most annoying classes to fight. have me like

I was a sub rogue myself, i had twins of azzinoth in full tier 4 or 5? i thought i was the shyt..and i was for a while.

yup,we live and die by our bursts. If our target isnt dead,we in deep shyt. Rogue takes so much skills to play now. before u just spam one button,keep slice and dice up and do a finisher. Now we are basically utilized to peel and cc and burst. I still havent learned to cross cc. that shyt looks hard as fukk

I haven't played since Lich King. My rogue is still sitting at level 80. LOL. But like someone else said, it can only go on for so long. At the same time though, losing 1.3 million users, what are they still sitting at like 8 million users? Which is more than any other MMO out there I would assume.

It really depended on your gear. The cool part about pre-bc was GEAR MATTER SO MUCH. And unless you were down with the right people, you were probably a scrub. With that said, if I met you in World pvp, I probably would have destroyed you 2-3 times before I ran out of engineer toys and trinkets.

Then after I got full avenger I went full ret. I'd beat you in a stun lock. Hammer of Justice + repentance + 1 mithral gernade = GG. lol

Ultimately, though, rogues and locks were OP as fukk. A perfectly played one of those could beat ANYTHING pre-bc.

In BC, I was ret/shockadin after they nerfed crusader strike. Gear mattered less because everyone could get it. Blizzard fukkin hated pallies too....our pvp gear = our pve gear. We had NO resilience. Those were bad times.



All in all, I kept playing pally because I liked being the underdog. WoTLK almost made me quit because we became so OP. Then a nikka got Shadowmourn. This game wasn't even fair.​

I was an elemental shaman when it wasn't cool, but like you said, shyt was so fun once you got the gear. The horde were so behind on my server due to not having paladins.. the shaman call on nefarian was brutal, the pallys call was just a time for the healers to regen mana

blessing of wisdom and judgment of wisdom alone was so overpowered when the horde didn't have those buffs. mana spring totem was fukking garbage. and mana tide was decent at best.

I see you on that shockadin playstyle though, that shyt was fun.. used to have fun with that on the test servers.

breh in the beginning combat rogues were all the rage back then and we had to learn how to stun lock dudes otherwise , i don't remember spamming slice n dice often like that.

I had a blast playing WoW, all I would do is talk shyt on the chat channels and leisurely level up. I made it to the level cap and I was a semi-celebrity in the server for talking so much shyt and always making nikkas that took the game too seriously look stupid in public.

Elemental wasn't shyt without the very very very best gear, which was usually prioritized for mages, warlocks etc. I can't believe I managed to get the only hand of nefarian that dropped for our guild. I saved up all my DKP

If I had started as a pally I would've been one of the sickest healers of all time. I got to 2k in a 2v2 playing on my friends holy pally the first night ever playing him

I was enhancement from 1-59 but that playstyle was so boring.. just auto attacking waiting for a proc and losing all your mana in 2 shocks. No gear itemized for it either. It was really fun in battlegrounds though when windfury could proc off windfury.. I was running around 1 shotting most people after buying one of the epic axes from scarlet monestary me and my warrior friend ran those battlegrounds.

Our tier 2 was the worst itemized gear set in the entire game. Only tier 2 pieces that were better than tier 1 were gloves and the bracers which was a shame because it was one of the coolest looking sets in the game. The shoulders looked so cool but their stats were garbage.

for me cata is what killed WoW, but you could already see its demise coming in WotLK. i quit mid 2011 after 5 years. first character was a warrior (vanilla). got bored as hell and ended up rerolling rogue (nilla - cata) my alt which became my main only to become my alt again was a belf priest double

nah, theyre working on a MOBA to compete wtih DOTA 2 and LoL. Theyre also working on making a sports league for Starcraft, which is fukking stupid

from wrath to cata,combat was about keeping up slice and dice,deadly poision, and spamming sinister strike. Combat is still the easiest to play today but u wont get away with that rotation in arenas or rbg's. Sub is the hardest cuz we live in the shadows and our combo builder is backstab. We gotta constantly be behind ya in order to get out the most of our dps. Even so, we aint shyt without bursting and cc. Alot of people quit rogues cuz they got nerfed and are mainly used to peel and cc. I say fukk them pussies. They rather play as an OP Dk or Warrior

Defending Crossroads from punkass allies

we just invaded Crossroads last night. Then went in front of Org and held it down for 20 mins. Had our Alliance flags everywhere,our DK was death gripping the dudes who thought they were safe on their flying mounts,would stun them afterwards and kill them before they went back up in the air. So many horde corpses were falling out of the sky . Then word got out and it was a wrap. About 40+ horde came and knocked over the buildings. We did pretty good for only 15 people.
