wale is one of the wackest rappers in any generation.

he is also not an emcee,..as he got dropped from jay's label cause he did not write well, or to a beat well.

duke is huffness personified,......

i would not be surprised if he was a writing pool gw artist.

He was never signed to Jay's label as an artist. Roc Nation only managed him.

What needs to be understood about Roc Nation is this:

Wikipedia said:
Roc Nation is a record label, management, music publishing and entertainment company founded under Jay-Z.

Anyways, he was originally signed to Interscope thru Mark Ronson's imprint but Ronson is not really into the hip-hop scene anymore so......To make a long story short...AD flopped, his career was on life support, Interscope was spring cleaning, his verse on that song with Waka and Roscoe revived him and Rozay picked him up and breathed life back into him.

The major mistakes I think Wale made that hurt his image was signing to a guy that is alternative pop (instead of a hip-hop mogul) and allowing the media to categorize him with and as a hipster. He is not that...this is a kid that went to 2 HBCUs, played college football, is from DC but somehow he got stereotyped as one of those preppy college hipsters faggits like kidcudi, asher roth, cool kids, kidz in the hall, and whoever else came out during that time I feel he is still struggling to shake that image that the public has of him. He's always wanted to be considered an urban artist not pop, not alternative, etc.

with all that said,....

he was not a good enough talent to be offered a spectacular deal to as an emcee at all.

as he is not that skilled of an emcee,..i doubt if he is an emcee.

he is a menial skilled rapper.
plus at this point who cares if he is ghostwritten or not either.

he has no skill to make me delve into the matter.

as he is wack huff packets and condiment sauce personified.

fukk dude,.....to the umpteenth power of wackness!

So the type of offer that rapper gets is an indication of his skills level?

Exactly, nikkaz in here acting like there's some wave of quality MCs that came out in the last few years. :rudy: I'm thinking the new class is from like 08 onwards and 80-85 percent of dudes that debuted or was on those freshman lists are straight .

dawg,...look at his youtube's.

where he is like jay says my bars are weak or whatever.

stop playing like he is some elite talent.

dude sux and this is the low wack skills era.

who cares about rating these nikkaz,..they have no great skill like that.

to ever be bothered about which of them is higher rated,..

nor are they culturally relevent as mostly all them nikka are sellouts,..
dying to sell their sell and make dub step and trance.

Wale gets unnecessary hate on this board I don't understand it. I think people just don't like as a person and reach for any reason they can to hate.

People will call him wack then in the same breath praise future and 2 chainz. It's laughable.

K.R.I.T,
Don Trip
Count (L.E.P Bogus Boys)

these are debatable and im glad u mentioned count because he is mad underrated, count and trip are both a different lane of rappers but wale has better wordplay than both.
