How many 80 year olds with dementia kill their wife and kid and then are still able to change their flight and text friends. CTE had nothing to do with it. I know his type. He has a small mans complex and used steroids to inflate and ego that never had any air to it. Dude always thought he was a superstar when he wasn't even close.
Where did you pull that from? He never had an arrogant air about him whatsoever and always put people over. He campaigned hard to put MVP over in their match at Mania 23 and went out of his way to make sure he would look as great as possible. CTE is proven to alter someone's behavior and make them more violent. Like a previous poster said no one is excusing what he did.

He was a sicko period.
The man was joking about raping people, bullying people, and other crazy shyt early on.

Stop making excuses for him.
He was a peice of shyt that murdered his family and then took the cowards way out.
Agreed. Chris was always a piece of shyt. The CTE just brought it out of him.

Wait a minute now. Chris was a garbage person but if he hasn't of committed murder he would be in my wrestling trinity with Kurt and Eddie as goats.

Yeah, Vince was supposed to be dead too at the time. One of those things I will never forget

This.

There are so many stories about him bullying and harassing younger wrestlers and using his seniority to make people’s lives hell just because he could. A good dude doesn’t just randomly snap and kill his family. Benoit’s violent and aggressive behavior had been on display for years whether it was through his horrible treatment of his co-workers or habitually beating his wife. Chris Benoit was a great wrestler, but he wasn’t a good man and people need to stop telling that lie. There’s plenty of people with CTE that have committed suicide, but Benoit is the only one that killed his wife and kid as well. The guy was a monster with or without CTE.

I thought it was apart of the storyline cause my dad let the cat out the bag about wrestling being scripted cause I freaking out about seeing Vince "die" two weeks earlier, keep in mind I was just 10 years old but he told me that Benoit really died and I was like :lupe:.

Then when it came out the next day that he murdered his family I was like :mindblown:.

I don't know why I didn't notice it then but if you go back and see Benoit's last few appearances, mans was out of it, eyes looked soulless, like he knew he was bout to kill somebody.

The bullying and harassing wasn’t just Benoit. Everyone was doing that hazing shyt across all sports. It wasn’t taboo like it is now. No one knows why he did it but him.
