He is not opting out. At the end of the day come playoff we still need whiteside. He is giving us good games BUT it's obvious Bam has a higher ceiling than Whiteside. He just needs to work heavy on his post game and get stronger.
At least the anderson buyout will be cheaper, maybe goran will opt out and take a team friendly longer deal to open a max slot for us.

Nah i hope they dont ask goran to do that. He already being a professional about losing his starting spot if he opts out he might join the all euro squad in dallas.
Now we couls potentially use hassan in a S&T since he is an expiring but i doubt a squad losing a max player would help us out. Both kyrie and jimmy wanted to get traded so maybe we send a pick with whiteside to sign a kyrie
