It’s not organic. Seems forced.
There's a foul stench around him being anointed as "the guy". I remember last year Spo had a comment post game that he now "expects" J-Rich to get 20 a night and play elite defense on the other end. Then there's him flying out to LA this summer to meet with him. Not Wade, not LeBron, but J-Rich. It all goes back to Spo's love of character and practice/junkyard dog mentality superseding the on-court product. Imagine being a top lottery prospect and Spo asking you with a straight face "If I roll a ball under the table who is going to get it first, you or Rodney Mcgruder" but thats really the type of nut shyt he be on with these guys. Even cucks like Ira in the media endorsing Rich as the "new lead man" and I'm wondering where the hell all this came from. He's not even healthy Waiters level in terms of getting off his own shot.

Do you remember what Justice was doing when we forced him to be the primary playmaker? Yeah, he was forcing loads of shots and it looked awful but the confidence he got there plus his playmaking ability started to make itself known.

Richardson forced the action, was too aggressive, and is getting used to running the show.

Yeah, 8 for 21 looks like a struggle but then you see he shot 45% on 11 3s which is fukking amazing. You see got to the line 8 times which is an important aspect of being a 1st option scorer, the ability to get to the line.

And Miami still isn’t a team loaded with knockdown shooters or lots of spacing when we’re healthy so the fact is that he got those numbers with the best wing defenders typically guarding him (Porter, Wall, Oubre) and handling lots of decision making. This is great for a young players confidence and mentality.

28/5/4 isn’t a bad game especially in the context of how he got those numbers. Let’s just relax on hating young Rich for growing pains and look at the overall growth. :hubie:
Agreed. I'm team #growingpains and #development

Let JRich get his lumps. Inefficiency will turn to efficiency through development gained through experience.

damn smh, If i was him, id beat his agents ass, I think Miami offered him a 3 year 12 mill deal and he declined to sign a one year with LAC and caught domestic violence charges.

That really sucks. I hope Miami (or some other team) gives him another chance

The kid had a bad shooting slump early in the season last year and some of clones in here killed him over it. No need to name names. They know who they are :francis:
I always liked his upside and i said this the minute we drafted him after i saw his highlights on Youtube, if you guys recall. THo i always thought/hoped we'd develop him into a big PG.
Either way i'd still trade him to MIN for Jimmy Butler with certain conditions.
  1. We are NOT giving up any picks. No bargaining on this one at all. Let Phoenix give up the pick if they want in on the deal
  2. If we take any bad contracts they have to take 2 of ours (TJ and Dion).
  3. I'm not giving 30 y/o Jimmy Butler a 5 year max at the end of the season. 3 years max, period.

I dont think i'm asking for much:yeshrug:
Agreed with all of this. Not giving up the whole kingdom for Jimmy.

Since Riley said the deal is dead I expect it to be done by Sunday night
Wouldnt surprise me :ehh:
He did that to us on the Jamal Mashburn, Jermaine Oneal, Shawn Marion and Shaquille ONeal trades. I remember it like it was yesterday. Got on the radio at 3PM and with his own mouth he said "deal is dead" and VERY NEXT MORNING we hear Mashburn is at the Miami airport being greeted by Heat brass:francis:
