AKI developed the WWF and WCW games on N64 and the first two Def Jam games. Their last wrestling game was for the Ultimate Muscle franchise for Gamecube.

The reason why it's so different because only AKI owned that engine as that is what they built from the ground up and they didn't sell it.

I think they were brought out by Nintendo and just make shytty mini downloadable games for the 3DS exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS.

That is the true reason from the departure due to Nintendo acquisition of the original studio.
They are content making Style Savvy games. The fashion games must be banking if they keep making them, and I remember seeing one of them having pretty good reviews so :yeshrug:
Guess the :queen: (and :wrist:) market is profitable

This biggest issue at the time as I recall was the communication being that AKI was a Japanese developer, lots of things were lost in translation and time was wasted going back and forth over simple things. Ea decided it was too much work and money for what it was and handed the project to EA Chicago who were minds behind Fight Night.

Oh and this guy

Everything always comes back full circle. Those games were too popular and renowned to be forgotten in the past.

Literally, every good game since the 70s has made its way to newer platforms and consoles and I don't see why they can't remaster WWF No Mercy or Def Jam: Vendetta.:wow:

Life would be pure piff if they thought of what got them to where they are. Selfish c*nts.:mjcry::to::ufdup:AKI

:pacspit: that dude. Took a series like Knockout Kings and turned it into Fight Night. :pacspit: Fight Night Rd. 2 was pretty much Rock em Sock em robots with that haymaker shyt they added. Series didn't get good, imo, until Fight Night Round 4.

@RARI_Godwind what website are you going to that sells video games at such extortionate prices? lol

Here in England we have CEX and I believe they ship worldwide especially the USA.

On their website it costs £1.50 which must be like $2.50-$3.

All the PS3 games are region free so I'm sure you could get a PS3 for nothing or just borrow one from a friend since everyone has one. I bought a second-hand one for £45 2 years ago so they must be even more worthless by now.

Nah, bruh. What made Vendetta and FFNY so dope was the storylines and the connections we had to the characters. Everything about them were immersive. Ain’t no one gonna be like :damn: over a Lil Uzi Vert boss battle...that’s like fighting Voldo in Soul Calibur.
Imagining vert being a tough as nails boss and after the fight him being animated to do this dance
