if Voldy truly mastered death he would've been unfukkable, but some of his traps for the horuxes were ill...the locket one, the one at the bank (book version was better, cause shyt would burn you). He really didn't have a plan per se when he got back though...he just wanted to chill and kill muggles. If he really wanted to expand beyond to overseas, he might've been able to pull it off

Nah breh, Voldy stupid. He only cared about the Elder Wand. Dumbledore notes that he wouldn't have cared about the deathly hallows if he knew about them. fakkit went out to rip his soul to shreds instead :mjlol: Put them in objects so whenever he gets bodied he gets agony in limbo until a servant restores him from a horcrux. :dead:

Palpatine went a dumb way but his machinations were much more impressive and damaging in scope compared to Voldemorts.

exactly. Voldy was stupid/arrogant and only wanted 1 of the hallows because of its power. Had he mastered/bothered to learn about the others, he would've been :demonic:. DD's right to an extent, Voldey's ignorance on the other 2 hallows was part of his undoing. Even if he didn't care for them, had he tried to get a hold of them, he could've won. Add in Horcuxes as a fail safe

yeah Palp overall was a better ruler/leader

What would he have done with the invisibility cloak and the soul stone or whatever? Why would this make him more :demonic: than he already was?

Resurrection stone would have been useless to him too. It only brings back the spirit of loved ones and we already know nobody loved him.

YMMV on that. Dumbledore believed the origin story of the Deathly hallows to be myth and thought that three talented brehs just created some powerful tools way back in the day. The legend behind them is also a lesson that death is inevitable which is why Death only gave the items to the brothers so he could catch them slipping. The smart brother chose an item that enabled him to hide for years but he accepted his time when he got too old. To be Master of death you'd have to accept your mortality and that's the opposite to Voldemort's entire being :pachaha:
