LMAO!! "Jump starting" the process is what fukks poor people. If you're starting as the 99% you really can't afford the risks that the 1% can. But people who think like you tend to be broke their whole lives trying to jump start new idea after new idea. Hopefully one will work.

:wtf:

So it's smart to save up money and start a business with it?

Who uses their own money in a business. Wouldn't you want your assets protected from all the liabilities that come with a business?

Peppe like me tend to be broke? :laff:

LMMFAO! So borrowing money with interest is the better move? You sound fukking retarded. Saving money specifically to invest in a business doesn't mean you won't be able to protect your assets. Where do you even get this shyt from?

It will take some time save the right amount of money though

By then, right time might have passed to get in whatever market you were trying to get in.

Yes, using someone else's money is a better move

So? Ummm how about have more than one idea? Borrowing money to start a business isn't wise when you're broke. That's putting all your eggs in one basket. If the shyt doesn't work you're out of a business and in a mountain of debt. But do whatever works for you. I hope you get a good interest rate.

I have no plan to start a business

No it can't.

Why would need to save if you had a way to make money

:userious:

Why are you so averse to saving money. This is like the fourth time I have seen you advocating for spending every last penny, no matter how much you make.

I know millionaires who are employees. How did they do it. They lived within their means, and they were smart with the money they saved.

I know people who had businesses pulling in close to $1M on a good year whose businesses were running for decades who are dead broke now. Why? Because they subscribed to the Crimsontider theory of finance. "Ball till u fall". Unless you plan on dying young a day will come when you physically can't work anymore. It seems like that is the day when you will realize the importance of saving.

The French were starving doe. Avg American is fat + in a nice warm comfy house w/an Iphone, high speed internet, fridge full of frozen food and credit cards on deck. America hasn't been collectively hungry since the 1930s.

Like I just told you, I know several people who saved their way into wealth.

The idea that the only way to become wealthy is by being some big business dude is ridiculous.

To him starting a business is the only way to build wealth but he doesn't want to start a business which means he doesn't want to be wealthy. Don't even bother wasting your keystrokes. People like him have a defeatist attitude about money and life in general. Let him lobby for minimum wage increases and more government programs.

In the context of this video one million dollars isn't wealth. There is no way to move out of the 99% by saving money. Which is why America has almost no upward mobilty, and why the wealth gap is so large.

In the context of REAL LIFE, a million dollars is plenty. Its only recently that having millions and millions of dollars has been considered a prerequisite for financial satisfaction. In REAL LIFE, a paid off house and a couple hundred thousand dollars = a comfortable retirement, which is all that matters. Should people strive for more, sure, but I think it's stupid as hell to lose sight of what's important.

and yet i bet the wealth disparity was nowhere near this

i think representative democracy has about as much to do with our complacency as the conveniences of modern living

I think folks think too relatively and don't stop to put things in perspective. Its true that the wealth and income gap are growing, and at this present time the cost of a lot of shyt is skyrocketing too. But on the flip side, while it's harder to reach the top of the mountain, it not impossible to do well for yourself and still "fall short". The American dream has been a lie from the get go- there's never been a period in our history when anyone could be rich. But there's never been a period in our history when nobody could live comfortably, if they put in the work to do so
