80% of Americans owning 7% of the wealth is pretty disgusting. But, people are spending every red cent they have and then some. I would love the wages to be a lot more fair, but on the other side of the equation there is no reason why someone could not save $10,000 over a 5 year period.
Depends on how much money you have coming in.
If you're making 75k a year and can't manage to save a couple thousand, then yeah, you're probably wasting money or living beyond your means. But I can't blame somebody making 22k/yr and just barely scraping by for having a hard time saving $2000 a year.
the digusting part is more than 90% of that wealth is inherited to begin with...
