No that’s not my argument at all:hhh:
My arguments are coherent as hell you aren’t thinking clearly

I’m saying when you do blanket restoration (rather than subjective) you allow people like Larson to slip through the cracks. My argument denounces Larson & the policies that enable people like him. The only reason you’re not seeing this clearly is because of cognitive dissonance.

I know I said I was done with you but I need to add this. Your argument ignores the fact that most people like Larson, racist pedophiles, don't have felony convictions. If this particular guy had never been convicted of threats against the president he could still say and believe everything he currently does without being disqualified from running for office. We just had another pedophile named Roy Moore run in Alabama. All a subjective restoration of voting rights would do is allow discrimination that is more likely to target black men, just like most policy that leaves a door open for discrimination.

Either way Larson took the place of a potential black male trying to change his life

I’d rather take a chance with subjective restoration than have people like Larson available to be jurors or school teachers.
Some black felon restoration w/ no pedos>a lot of black felon restoration w/ pedos

In a perfect world there could be both a lot of black felon restoration w/ no pedos but we don’t live in that world yet

I keep saying the same thing hoping you get it

Again he wasn't convicted of being a pedophile. You've framed a dishonest argument the entire thread.

I'm sure you're angry about black citizens regaining their rights though and what better way to go about it than troll pushing a stupid narrative like you have.

:mjpls: looking for the pizzagate conspiracy theorists
They only pop up when it involves someone on the left.
According to Larson’s campaign manifesto, his platform as a “quasi-neoreactionary libertarian” candidate includes protecting gun ownership rights, establishing free trade and protecting “benevolent white supremacy,” as well as legalizing incestuous marriage and child pornography.
A libertarian you say? :troll:

Again he still slipped through the cracks because of bad policy.

Remember I was tagged in this thread because people wanted a “gotcha moment” not because they wanted to have a serious discussion about policy. It just so happens it puts your political allies in a negative light, that’s why you’re angry.

No.

Wrong.

It does put this scumbag and people like you on the right who support this as the norm a particularly bad light however.

Again, you still haven't defined what you mean by "slip through the cracks"? I'm assuming this man went to jail, paid his debt to society, and now some of his rights have been restored ... in what way has he "slipped through the cracks"?

And lol @ cognitive dissonance. Yeah, everyone is disagreeing with you, but the problem is everyone else and their cognitive dissonance.

Again he still slipped through the cracks

You keep using this phrase... I'm not convinced you know what it means.

You would have to agree with at least one of two of those things you bolded to avoid contradicting yourself...

If you aren’t mad that it puts your political allegiances in a negative light then you would have to agree it’s bad policy...hence the reason the thread was made in the first place

"INDIVIDUAL LIBERTIES :damn:" "You guys need to deal with the fact that sometimes unsavory people deserve a platform :troll:" "IT'S THE CAC DEMS FAULT THIS PEDO SHOULD HAVE BEEN HANGED :damn:" "Deplatforming is a terrible ideology :troll:"

At least pretend to have some semblance of intellectual, or at the very least, post to post consistency with your own political beliefs.

Just admit you're a partisan who saw the D next to his name and flipped out and move on. This man running is a direct result of the political culture the alt-right cesspit has created. In no other era would a pedophile be running for any kind of election and he fukking certainly wouldn't get votes. Him being pardoned for a crime entirely unrelated to his disgusting nature is irrelevant to him running for office. Stop trying to turn a man pardoning convicts for petty crimes in your partisan railings and please stop trying to make it out like you're the only one arguing for any kind of a pro-black stance on this.

It's disgusting, you're in a thread about a self-admitted pedophile and spousal abuser. Have some dignity.

Pretend this thread wasn't about partisanship in its inception, breh
Pretend I wasn't tagged in this thread because of partisanship, breh
Pretend McAullife's only reason he did a blanket restoration in 2016 was to help black people when Virginia was a battleground state in the 2016 presidential election, breh
"This man running" is a direct result of the political culture of your political allegiance and the only reason you cant comprehend this is because its your political allegiance

I am the definition of consistency in this thread, I dont allow my political beliefs to contradict myself...

Tag/quote me next time

I don't think returning rights to citizens who have served their sentence is a bad policy. You think there should be an added threshold set by someone to regain their voting rights and I disagree. The same very thing that has resulted in blacks being prosecuted and imprisoned for crimes they haven't committed, unequal sentencing, biased judges, biased juries, biased prosecutors, judges with financial incentives, politics at play and other wrongs.

Really looking forward to you being finally banned

Larson is an admitted pedophile, yes I think there should be thresholds put in place for him...and people like him. You don't?:gucci:
You are trying to use strawman to shame a victory for yourself by suggesting I want a threshold on all black felons. Thats a tactic not an argument.

Lets take Larson's specific case out of the picture,

"The administration’s implementation of the order was botched; it mistakenly restored rights to 132 sex offenders still in custody as well as to several convicted killers on probation in other states.":scust:
- The Washington Post

You still think it isnt bad policy? :francis:
