I’m saying when you do blanket restoration (rather than subjective) you allow people like Larson to slip through the cracks. My argument denounces Larson & the policies that enable people like him. The only reason you’re not seeing this clearly is because of cognitive dissonance.
I know I said I was done with you but I need to add this. Your argument ignores the fact that most people like Larson, racist pedophiles, don't have felony convictions. If this particular guy had never been convicted of threats against the president he could still say and believe everything he currently does without being disqualified from running for office. We just had another pedophile named Roy Moore run in Alabama. All a subjective restoration of voting rights would do is allow discrimination that is more likely to target black men, just like most policy that leaves a door open for discrimination.
