This is too bad. Herc won't win, he's too well-known, but I'm disappointed in HBO. All that money for this show and all the talk about how it celebrates music and HBO is behind-the-scenes doing legends wrong. Offering $10,000 insulting dollars sounds like some Richie Finestra for real shyt.
Finally finished this.
It had a lot of potential but it was weighed down by so many tropes of prestige tv drama that it got frankly boring at times.
When it hit, it really hit. But at times you just felt like the show was under achieving for all the talent in it.
It really is noticeable that it's the same team from boardwalk empire.
To be honest, I'm not even that mad winter is gone. A fresh voice could really pull everything together and make this show truly great.
Anyway,it's still good but not great.

I liked the show, but I can't say how I understand that a 70's period drama is "ahead of its time".
Its part of a trend like "Mad Men," etc.

Actually it was behind the times. No one gives a fukk about rock and roll from the 70s right now besides people who were around then.
