A great rapper is someone who is great at rapping, period...Kanye is NOT a great rapper, he's not. Jay is though, legitimately, and not because of this "great music" that is being manufacured as has been exposed by your boy Drake. That's not a great rapper...I give a fukk how much you love the "great music" his team put together and let him spearhead...he ain't Jay Z status unless we can discuss his legacy aside from all the industry fluff as an MC, and you can't....

If you wanna disqualify battle rap because it's not as easily monetized you're a clown. It's a staple of the culture that's been around before the recording industry and their standards that you fukkin zombies prop up and enforce. Again...objectivity is important but so is nuance. Eminem opened up a lane for rappers to get paid off the dedication that the put into the skill of rapping without sucking industry dikk.
