What are your thoughts on the allegations posted in here RE: Vince McMahon and creative's proposed racist storylines and racist backstage behavior?

That I've been watching wrestling for damn near 3 decades now and have seen enough racist stereotypes as gimmicks to know it's always been a racist industry the entire time. Bill Watts was booking black men as his top attractions while having racist ass views in his personal life. WCW had a racial discrimination lawsuit tossed at them years ago. I don't need a lawsuit in 2023 to know an old ass white billionaire is racist (or the people writing shyt to pander to him). NFL owners are racist as hell, doesn't mean I'm gonna stop watching football. Just like I'll be watching Raw, Smackdown and Dynamite every week (maybe even Collision when its not college football season)

That's the truth... all wrestling promotors at least from what I've seen past/present are either racist pieces of shyt through and through or they've done or said things that make you go :patrice: Either way...

I was asked around the pandemic time why am I still watching wrestling. It's an opportunity to quit. I've stopped watching at various times through my life but why do I stay.. for the performers I want to see. It's that simple. Same with sports. And in wrestling there's the off chance you get a "Bloodline" type story that captivates you. That's all.

It's just the nature of sports and entertainment unfortunately. Jimmy Iovine and Lucien Grange are the ones making the most money from all the biggest rap artists of the past 30 years. Hollywood is still racist when it comes to black representation. How many NFL/MLB/NBA owners are white, and how many GMs combined in those sports are white? But we watch to see LeBron and Curry, not Jeannie Buss and Lacob or Rob Pelinka and Bob Myers

^^ yeah, I feel you with that. I don’t think watching is that deep. People obviously watch wrestling for the performers.

you think I’m gonna stop watching and rooting for laker players because the owner of the team is married to this nikka?

You think I’m boycotting Lebron to stick it to some crackas!?!? Get real my brother. Lakers in 6

So if all sports are inherently racists that means we should just ignore and still consume the shyt because hey its been around for years :snoop:

Breh this nikka was probably told to oppose whatever Pat and them were saying. shyt is kayfabe brother. Y’all something else lmao
I know Sam Roberts was told to say what he said. My point was that he was saying the same racist shyt that the cacs & c00ns were saying in the other thread that I linked.

whats your solution then? Not watch the Finals? skip the Super Bowl?
Maybe that's the real solution but our vices are too strong. No one is saying you shouldn't watch but the same level of outrage over a shirt versus real black people getting discriminated just because of it being the WWE is hilarious.

There might be some level of outrage from some people over that shirt but most people here anyways are just saying wtf are they thinking making such an unmarketable shirt, even by wrestling t-shirt standards thats gotta be in the bottom 5 all time
