Gonna have Swerve like

Might be a highkey reason why Swerve is so adamant about never returning. Even allegedly snitching out WWE trying to reach out to AEW talent about doing so
Breh shut the fcck up, they were talking about Reggie being hunted by him and put in a cage :dead:

We've seen WWE do the hunter gimmick both human and animal versions of it and that of true that proposed Shane Thorne gimmick sure as hell wasn't no animal hunter gimmick
I do wonder what former gang member from The Lou Reggie thought when he heard about this :mjpls: ass gimmick.

Slapjack hunting random ass wrestlers would’ve been one thing. They was really gon have my man Scrypts out here on some ol’ “Cirque du Soleil meets Surviving The Game” shyt:snoop:

There was a pitch made by Vince McMahon directly to Mustafa Ali in late 2021 that Fightful Select had reported on and noted that it was “something that Mustafa Ali would have never done.” We still haven’t gained clarity on what that was, it was claimed to us that “it was just as bad as the Mansoor pitch.”

So i was listening to “The Masked Man Show” and Kaz told a story about what happened when he worked at WWE in creative.

He said when they brought Lio Rush in to manage Bobby Lashley they wanted to call him Bobby’s “Handler.” They wanted KO to call him that in a promo and KO went :whoa: so Kaz pitched to call him Bobby’s “Hypeman” and after explaining to Vince what a “hypeman” is he okay’d it. :mjlol:

Through their actions, time and time again WWE has shown they do NOT care about black folks like that. If we gonna keep it 100..the only reason why Vinny Mac kept New Day together all these years is because Vince sees them as dancing c00ns that make him money.

GregariousPleasedCoqui-max-1mb.gif

He never booked Big E serious as champion because Vince never took him serious cause he was damn near shucking and jiving even as champion in his eyes.

You can make an exception for Kofi with his title reign, but when that Saudi bag was coming Vince felt he couldn’t make money with Kofi and fed him to Brock in 10 seconds. Then instantly put him back on the midcard. Same with Big E..

Apollo Crews wasn’t shyt on that roster till they had him speaking his native language even though that nikka was from fukking Georgia! :damn:

I mean look at R. Truth

H2AC.gif

Pushes Bobby Lashley and Omos like big mandingo ass nikkas..

For Christsake…Vince told Keith Lee to his face that he was “too smart for his own good” and rebranded him into a big angry black man…:mindblown:

Closest we got to seeing a strong black male group was “Hurt Business.” But as soon Vince realized they had all the belts he instantly broke them up and had Cedric and Shelton lose the tag titles and get regulated back to catering.

And that’s just examples in the last few years…and that just with black men.

Let’s not forget when Bianca was in NXT and Sam Roberts said ON AIR on the preshow that Bianca wasn’t good enough..

And then proceeded to lose every major match against Shayna…

And let’s not forget when Becky beat her in less then 30 seconds..

I can go on and on…

But reading what the writers be pitching in them meetings. It just reflects on the history of that company…

Wait till they complete that deal with UFC, the racism will double up. You talk about white trash of white trashes being your primary audience.

Vince and Dana, do what you are told to do or go elsewhere where it's less significant than WWE/UFC

Vince always been a demanding authority figure, you write what you're told, you do the gimmick you're told. If you are one of the top guys then you can pitch him some ideas, which he'll obviously edit suitable to his ideas since "he always knows better than you".

And then he kept hiring losers, I mean fukking losers like vince russo, john laurinaitis, kevin dunn and all those losers to whom he stayed loyal, fukking up the product worse and worse. Hiring people that don't know shyt about wrestling to run a multi-billion dollar corporation. And if you're from another company coming to work for WWE they will fukk you, because they think they are better than you.

And he didn't even have to try, cause WCW were shyt product and TNA as well minus couple OK years with Angle, Christian, Samoa Joe, AJ, etc. Fuuuuuuck.

Breh we been knowing WWE does stereotypical shyt. We got eyes. We don’t need some unheard of pitches to prove it.

This thread would probably be more active if we were naive and thought otherwise. Unfortunately nobody is surprised by this shyt and we’ll be tapped in for Smackdown tomorrow as always

we watch WWE for the performers, same way we watch the NFL for the players. That don’t change the fact that up top the crackas in charge are real shakey baby
I actually went through a break on WWE because it annoyed me (the racist stereotypes) but this is like being surprised the police pull over Black men for being Black...

Is anyone really shocked by any of this? My reaction was more "well yea..."

Black WWE fans if they have any sense - watch knowing that like most forms of entertainment/media we are tolerating a product that historically treated people who look like us as third class citizens. This isn't exactly a shock.

I will say this.. I think I’m a lot more grounded than the typical hot take “Fed Bad” person on this site

I do think the WWE, much like the NBA, NFL, and every other white ran corporation is Inherently racist. I think that’s much deeper than stereotypical storytelling. The lack of black faces as you climb the hierarchy is all you need as proof. If blacks are only prevalent on the ground level (performers, athletes) then it’s safe to say there’s a structural problem rooted in racism. That’s a fact.

As far as the stereotypical storylines, gimmicks etc. that doesn’t move me much. I feel like we forget that this is a fictional universe because it’s presented as a sport, but it isn’t that. Pro wrestling is not based in realism. A lot of what they do is racy, ridiculous and borderline offensive. It’s bad tv. We’ve seen dudes playing inbred hillbilly’s, retarded people, pirates, zombies, flamboyant gays, Mexican cartel, rappers.. shyt, one dude was a Rat. Not a snitch, his gimmick was literally an actual rat. He was eating cheese and shyt. To be upset about that would be like being upset with Snowfall because the black people on the show sell drugs, gangbang and portray other stereotypes. Like… it’s a fictional universe. Is Leon some savage nikka in real life? Of course not, he a light skinned 5’3 nikka with curly hair. It’s a show. Theatrics. I fully understand why some people do get upset, and even claim certain shows like snowfall push and glorify certain agendas. I will never tell someone what they should and shouldn’t be offended by. I just don’t subscribe to that personally. These are actors playing characters in a fictional world.

If a guy like Big E is happy dancing and shaking ass, I’m not about to be offended FOR him. He clearly isn’t offended himself, and enjoys what he’s doing. Now if he was upset and WWE was forcing him to do what he does (like in Ali’s case) that’s when I have a problem. But if a guy like R Truth loves what he’s doing, it kinda is what it is.

And that brings me back to the real issue. There’s not enough diversity in power. Not just the writers room. That’s bare minimum. If there were black people up top, a lot of this bullshyt would get axed before it even makes it out of the room. Until we have real change in structure with black people in real positions of power and not just sprinkled in writing rooms, nothing will ever truly change. So yes, again.. WWE is inherently racist. I truly believe this… annnnd I’ll be watching Smackdown tonight at 8, because I’m here for a show and enjoy the performers on that show

If anyone wants to take some boycott stance, I’m all for it. If that’s your position, take that shyt. All the power in the world to you my brothers.. but I’m tapping in. The same way I continued watching football post-Kap because.. I like football. The same way I continue to watch UFC despite Dana White slapping hoes and their lead commentator saying nikka more times that Django unchained.. because I like MMA. the same way I’m typing this on my iPhone that some poor Taiwanese kid probably put together in a sweatshop… because I like my phone.

I’m a fickle nikka baby! A hypocrite. A selfish muhfukka only worried about my own personal enjoyment. I want the best for my people but I’m stuck in my ways and can’t shake guilty pleasures! It is what it is!

that’s my take. Thanks for reading lol
