It really should be Roman-Brock II at WM, with Brock winning the Rumble and the roles reversed

Have Roman run through HHH at the Rumble. I like Trips, but him in a main event title match at WM is idea. It would make no sense for him to enter the Rumble, and with one belt now the Rumble winner has to be in the title match. I get that that leaves him without an opponent with Rock and Seth off the table, but tough shyt, figure something out. It's not a rule that HHH has to wrestle at WM (but of course he will ).

Second option: Cena vs. Roman, which would be a good way to ensure that Roman stays getting cheered and they can't be sure Cena is going to stay with WWE that much longer if his NBC stuff does well. Cena should put Reigns over.

I don't see it happening in 2016 unless Reigns gains Austin 3:16 levels of momentum, and I also don't see him staying over.
That said, if he does, then Cena should go heel at Summerslam vs Reigns.
Do it similar to Austin vs Rock at WM 17 with Cena making a deal with the devil (Authority) in order to ward off the young lion who is rapidly assuming the role of alpha male.
The heat will be multiplied considering it'd be for Flairs record.
Turning Cena while booking Reigns like he currently is being booked will ensure Cena is booed.
You book Reigns Cena lite from now until then instead of the hot headed anti hero however, and fans will turn in him in record time.
Cena plays that role better and fans would much rather stick with the devil they know.
The torch can officially be passed at WM in 2017 when John put Reigns over clean and officially bows out as a full timer and "the man."

I like this idea to. Cena will go that route if his NBC stuff does well. That's means more time off

If Reigns is dropping lines about tater tots leading up to their feud, I guarantee that he'd be booed vs a heel Cena.
In order for a babyface Rome to win the crowd over vs John, he has to distance himself as far away from Cena like antics as possible.
