What did “Vince will never allow a crossover star again” mean, and was it foolish?

Instances like this are what fostered the belief that Vince didn’t want workers getting too big.

WWE star Damian Priest cast in Black Panther 2 before role got 'taken away'

Mercedes Mone Had A Struggle With WWE Over Filming 'The Mandalorian

Whether you believe it or not though :hubie:
Imagine having a wrestler appear in a Star Wars TV show and potentially Black Panther 2 and not wanting to promote or encourage it, not even caring that promotion in something else simultaneously promotes WWE.

After losing Rock, Austin, and Lesnar over the course of 18 months Vince was never gonna let a star get bigger than the brand again. That's been the move in almost all of entertainment now, putting the brand front and center so it can sustain itself regardless of who's there.

Folks were getting mad that Jade wasn't cast as Storm but I'm like "Y'all know ACTING is the most important part, right? :heh:"
I trip out how people disregard the most important part of movie characters: ACTING. MCD had the size and could act, so he was fitting for Kingpin. Imagine if they just used King Kong Bundy because of the way he looks. :mjlol:
