Because Meltzer has shytty sources, and why would HBK lie about this? If HBK didn't want to "jinx" Bryan why would he say Vince is "Big on DB". Finally, Vince "not seeing money" in DB is patently ridiculous.
He could have been talking about Wade Barrett, Cesaro, even Sheamus, or someone like this in the 6'3 250 range who isn't getting the push that Bryan is.

Yep.....Ratings whores are worse than the album sales = better artist crew....Can't see how a system that's flawed by design (only in x number of homes) and HIGHLY circumstantial (this weeks ratings depend on last week's and this segment's ratings depend on a good rating in the last segment) can be brought up as a credible argument.....
And the funniest part is how all of the bullshyt logic used to shyt on one guy doesn't apply to another guy on the same situation....
Whats worse than people who live and die by a flawed and prehistoric ratings system is people who expect ratings to go from 2.9 to 4.0+ within a couple of weeks.
Until the show consistently stays on point, its going to be 2.9-3.2 no matter what and no matter who the champ is.

Punk was doing 2.8s and stuff during his reign. But that doesn't really matter.
The thing about the ratings talk that's most interesting to me is just discussing who or what segment brings interest to the general audience.
It's always nice to have a contrast discussion around here every once and awhile. I don't see why ratings and drawing talk is so looked down upon when its the main basis of the business and the reason it even stays around.
