My point is they didn't invest that much into him just trade him this quickly. If he makes it known he has no intention of staying long-term, then obviously that's a different story.

They're not going to blow it up months after finally making the playoffs post-Lebron unless something drastic happens (Mitchell telling the front office he's good on an extension, them completely falling off a cliff this season, etc)

Also I got the Knicks having the third best record in the East…. Maybe the fourth worst case scenario.

Idk why everyone is mad. The worst thing that could have happened was Dame to Miami. Celtics are unstable, bucks rosters is lowkey relying on Middleton to be really good and have a perimeter defense issue. Miami loss a lot of key roleplayers. All those teams got older….

The Knicks are actually doing ok by just doing nothing
