Superstar
This is the system team. That's fine. It doesn't matter how we win as long as we win.
RJ arc so far seems eerily similar to that of Jaylen Brown. Brown tried to find himself in the first three years, by year four he averaged 20 a game (same like Barrett) and by year 5 was Jaylen all star season.
Currently RJ would be our All star right now.
Cut your TV offSo far watched 3 games, all losses. Looks like another season when the Knicks only win when I don't watch them play
the biggest thing I have seen is he finally worked on his right hand.If RJ is an all star this year that would be great (that means he’ll be consistent). I personally think he’s peaked (we’ve seen his best potentially) but we will see how the year turns out. This is basically his “make or break” season
The difference between him and Jaylen Brown is freak athleticism so RJ has to be even better than Brown statistically to compare them

He’s been working on his three for a few summers now to the point it isn’t a weakness to be exploited like it was his first few seasons & with Randle and Brunson in the starting lineup he isn’t the main emphasis of the defense.

He’s better than some of those guys for sure.
Dude is 23. I think ESPN is just trolling at this point. Let's see what kind of game he has on Wednesday.
I need like three more games like yesterday before I pick this fight back up. Cause RJ had me looking crazy 2 seasons ago.

I think Jerami Grant will be available. His contract only exist because Dame played the Blazers with talk he didn’t want to leave. As soon as he is available I think he hits the market. The Knicks have asked about him multiple times when he was with Detroit and they have between 2-5 draft picks this year and we know they are not going to use all of them, maybe not any.Looking at the tea leaves around the league, don’t see anyone significant being available this deadline. The only team I can see blowing it up is Chicago and we don’t want or need anyone on that roster. Which leaves us with what to do about Evan Fournier… his biggest asset is his contract to put in a star trade. I don’t think we should pick up his option cause I actually think that’s kinda fukked up to leave him on the bench for 3 whole seasons. I think the move is to trade his 2024 expiring for a 2025 expiring. Problem is the only realistic players in his salary range are Lonzo Ball, Tim Hardaway Jr, Bojan Bogdanovic, Bruce Brown Jr. and Malcolm Brogdon. I think Timmy is the easiest to get but we would lose money on the asset since he only makes like 16 million. Lonzo is too much of a risk to flip again and Bruce and Malcolm would want to play more than we can give them minutes. No need for another malcontent who could potentially cause bigger issues than Evan. That leaves Bojan. He’s a perfect back up 4 who could actually help us in the short term and we probably can get him by giving the pistons their protected pick back.
