So that's the outliner? So you can be a Muslim or Christian and have religious items and structures made of wood and stone to help facilitate worship but you just can't worship the item it self ok I gotcha bruh. I grew up seeing Christians fall out at the altar made of wood and would have a wooden cross on it. And I have seen pictures of Muslims bowing down to the Kaaba stone. To me, it's not much of a damn difference. The object crafted from stone, wood, metal, etc is used to facilitate worship.
Do not construct anything in heaven? You talking about Exodus 20:4? Didn't the Ark of the Covenant have two cherubims facing one another on it? And wasn't that ark used as a religious item for the Israelites to commune with God? That's like 5 chapters later can you explain to me why the ark had cherubims on it after that verse.
Exodus 25:18 And thou shalt make two cherubims of gold, of beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat.
I think what matters is the belief behind it
From your pov you can’t judge someone else relationship with God
Looks can be deceiving
You see what you want to see based off your personal bias
If the cross is an idol to YOU, then leave the church but don’t judge everyone else for your own insecurities or higher religious standards
The black stone is a different case because Muslims believe it came from God and has powers to cleanse sins
I don’t think any modern day Christian BELIEVES a cross has power unless they also believe in vampires or something
