Well of course I think they should keep their ancestral religion. But unfortunately we as a ppl are still going through a dark age where we're running away from ourselves and towards reliance on others. Even relying on other's spiritual interpretations for ourselves.

This kind of stuff used to anger me but I've also realized that our spiritual beliefs should produce real life results and solutions and many of these conversion situations are because a priest/pastor or imam has promised solutions to their communities ills or needs that they didn't find with the own beliefs.

Ultimately it's their choice but I do believe it's to their detriment.

And they did do the same in Asia. Why do you think The Philippines is a majority catholic country? Why do you think Islam is the second largest religion in India? The largest in Pakistan? Outside of the philippines most far east asian societies like China, Japan, Vietnam have largely clung to their culture. Baring WW2 Japan only abandoned their culture after they were bombed to thy kingdom TWICE. India is a different ball game, India is also very multicultural there is no DOMINANT indian culture per se but the muslim majority split and formed their own country which is now Pakistan

Always found it interesting how you will find black people all over the world submitting to Islam, Christianity, Juadiasm, even Hinduism and the likes but I don't think I've ever recalled seeing a non black person submit to a black religion
