Shiet, what the hell, if I'mma be in here all the time anyway, might as well make a log. Today was my first day back after a week(car accident/injury).

I was GOING to do chest and back till my boyfriend lovingly reminded me that Deadlifts are on my chest and back routine. Since there was no way I was doing deadlifts with a sprained ankle, I sucked it up and did Biceps and core.

:sadbron: Being injured is going to be a c*nt and a half to work around, but I'm dedicated brehs.

That being said, I feel like the week off was good for me. I BREEZED through my routine like :ehh:, when Two weeks ago I was having pollems, so maybe giving my body a legit REST was a good thing? I dunno.

I STILL held a plank longer than my B/F. One legged due to the ankle. :scusthov: 3 minutes. (Not a PR, but still not bad considering)

aware me on planks

isometric contraction for your abs

youve seen em, you just brace your abs for various periods of time

imo if you lifting heavy deads/squats no need but i can see for someone who doesnt

20(+) mile bike ride.

I normally don't even see things like that as "exercise".. anyway, my "One way" route was 10 miles, but I came back a convoluted way. If google maps is correct it was about 23 miles round trip. (7 days post ankle sprain. I'm either badass or retarded.)

Surprisingly biking hurts way less than walking. I guess the amount of direct pressure on it is less? :yeshrug:

Re: planks

I like to put a plate on my back, as a way of increasing the intensity. But yeah if you doing heavy compounds they aren't really necessary

Yesterday I went for a 30 mile bike ride, but I didn't feel like updating the thread. Again not for the exercise, I was just aimlessly biking around, and ended up full across the city. :manny:

Today was 10 mile bike + shoulders and triceps, which is my shortest workout, but also BY.FAR. my least favourite day. I don't know why, but apart from tricep pushdowns I seriously HATE everything on my shoulder/tri day.

Oh and arnold presses. I kinda like dem hoes.

I have normally split up my arm days with a days rest in between. This week I didn't. (Today was Biceps and core, yesterday was shoulders and tri's)

Me shaking my protein after was pathetic. I had to use both hands because I was too weak to hold it in one.

:sadcam::wtf:

(Since I'm not actually logging my workouts or weight numbers this thread is kinda irrelevant and I probably could have just kept this in the random gym thoughts thread. Not that I give a fukk, I'm just pointing it out.)
