There's a dozen 'Back to Africa' threads on here. It's nice to post pics and videos but they don't paint a complete picture or tell the whole story. We can't all go back to Africa 'just because'. We need a real strategy....some concrete ideas. Us being Americans/Europeans puts us at a huge advantage over the native Africans as we have money and education. We need to muster a way to leverage those resources and make a meaningful contribution to Africa.
I think it's a good idea to first take advantage of being in the US/EU by obtaining a degree and 'getting your money up' THEN go to Africa. Africa needs more engineers, doctors, businessmen, programmers, etc. In order for countries like Nigeria and South Africa to grow they need foreign investments. Better to have black foreign investors than Chinese/Americans/Europeans. The dollar maybe devaluing but our money still goes a long way in some of these countries.
