I'd want to believe the whole argument against pre-ordering games is rooted in the fact by pre-ordering a game you're sort of blindly accepting whatever the final product is they give you without research or review and giving them full price money for an end product that might not even be a full game in most instances (Destiny, Evolve), a half assed campaign that lasts anywhere from 5-10 hours (Quantum Break and the Order for ps3) or even a title that works at launch (Assasin's Creed unity, The last Batman game and in a sense, No Man's sky.) on a basic level.

It's your prerogative to pay for DLC (I do for games I like) and extra trinkets on some aesthetic shyt but as the current business model in the game industry being on this "We'll fix it in post with patches and DLC" bullshyt you see in alot of games that rush to meet deadlines and come out like labour induced babies during the second trimester'n'shyt :scusthov: Pre-ordering a game based off of hype, previous game entries that delivered or shiny new "exclusive" items sorta keeps these developers collecting bank and doing what the fukk they want 'cause they know people will eat them shyts up.

I don't think many people care if you getting Chrome Horse armour or cash in game stacks with ya pre-order, they more mad (Well those that get mad at this shyt) that you trusting these dudes and copping shyt at full price without reviews or conformation that the game is worth the whole bill. If there was a way to get refunds or in a more extreme sense, punish developers/producers and studios for releasing trash that has to be amended later, instead of being dilligent and honest and releasing games that work properly off the bat.

You do you but always be careful when pre-ordering games. A lot of games look :ohlawd: pre-release and end up being very disappointing. I generally wait for reviews. I did pre-order Zelda but only cause I'm obviously gonna need something to play when I get the Switch and I also highly doubt it sucks

Nah I definitely be cautious, I don't preorder just to preorder. But at the same time, you got to for some of these games cause its getting to the point you missing out on whole characters for not preordering.
