I just hope before all this shyt is all over with, they spit back and forth like Jada and styles. This song would have been perfect for that as one last ending verse because it sounds like they celebrating black success. Victory lap for real is what this sounds like.

Video needs Nia Long for the eye candy. Someone that’s their contemporary.

The problem with the song is that its overproduced.

Theres way too much going on between the actual beat, the background singer's and vocals, the slow breakdown after every verse. Plus all the changes throughout Jay and Nas verse. Theres just too much involved and it doesnt make for an easy listen.

the whole album is overproduced

Why the praise for Jay’s verse? I’m not even playing…I really don’t get what’s so good about it. shyt was boring, and Nas wasn’t really much better.

Song is aight. Like Jay-Z’s verse better. More importantly, it’s just dope overall that Jay-Z and Nas are cool and making music together. 20 years ago, would’ve never thought that would be possible.

I am sorry brehs .. but IMO, weak beat, lazy flows. Some clever bars, but I expect much more from 2 legends of this game.

I want to hear some shyt that moves me. Nas and Jay on a track together? Khaled can’t at least make a fukking banger? Something that people can feel? This is just underwhelming for me.

I guess listening to X this past week has got me wanting that real hip hop. This ain’t it.
