Yeah I think James Flaunery (if that's how you spell the shyt) was the main problem that had people not really tuning in by the time the verses came. Idk why they used him, generally he's a writer/singer situation and they pass that off to someone else to sing on the hook.
Some people don't like the beat, idk how they hate outside of the slow breakdowns after the hook
Both verses were good to me but even I gotta listen to it more, been busy.
Funny enough I was in a studio (that will remain unnamed) at midnight when this dropped and the people that I was with were sampling songs from it including this one. They maybe listened to about literally 10 seconds of each verse before coming to some of the conclusions I seen here, and this is a damn hip hop studio I'm at.

If this is how y'all are listening to it before claiming it's trash and work in a damn studio, that speaks volumes to me about consumers I'm general.
