Thank you for posting this Gator.
First off a big thank you to Dj Khaled. A true hip hop great for putting these two together.
Song is incredible. It's like you can tell they played with some tension at the start of both of their verses and ended it with pure love.
It being filmed in Las Vegas hits me different having spent so much time there since 2017.
Just pure greatness. A big fukk you to anyone opposed to longevity in hip hop or dreams.
Such a great move for both of them.
Videos like this makes me grateful I ever fell in love with hip hop.
It reminds me why.
The power of forgiveness after beef.
fukk!
Jay and Nas man.
Edit. On second listen/watch, it brought me to a bit of tears. I don't think a track that wasn't sad ever did that to me. More out of sheer greatness. Joy.
I look at these two and reflect on where both of them came from. Real struggle. Alot of hood dudes actually are pampered. Not them.
I think about their run ins with 2pac and Biggie, and the greats who never made it to their 50s.
This is Hip Hop at it's pinnacle. If you know know you know.
And for anyone who ever doubts Khaled watch his interview with Narduar when he talks about his come up in Miami. It forever changed my own look on Khaled. He's a certified goat in my books. For certain.
