Asian men prefer and almost exclusively date Asian women, even if their women seemingly prefer white men. There aren't nearly enough Asian men dating out for their community lambast men who date out.
Latinos don't tend to have a problem with dating out with white people, the problem comes with dating anyone else and especially black people.
White people don't really care like that because the upper market value white men prefer dating and marrying white women and that won't change, while the lesser white men can go and bag a top tier Asian women or Latina.
So I would say our situation is unique considering the historical context.
