That's what makes the conversation IMPOSSIBLE to have en masse. The complete lack of acknowledgement that the swirling is just as prevalent amongst women, be it IRL or within the collective discourse.
The most recent data will tell you three interesting things. I've done the soft research myself and even posted on the forum before when the topic came up in another thread.
1. Black men and women in the UK still overwhelmingly choose one another (75% plus when it comes to co-habitation and marriage)
2. Black British men of Caribbean descent are in more inter-racial relationships than the men of African descent. Overwhelmingly so. HOWEVER, BW of Caribbean descent also have a similar proportion to their male counterparts. Slightly less but it's marginal.
3. The differences between BM and BW in the UK numbers wise are in the tens of thousands across the country. It's really not this pandemic that social media will have you believe. I think there are parallels there with the discourse amongst BM and BW in the US which is why I find the conversation interesting, lol.
