Most outlets had him as a better prospect than AD, Zion, Rose, etc. Hoping I am wrong because I don't want to see other fail, but people have put unreal expectations on the kid.

It's funny because people got mad at me when I said he better enjoy the limelight now because after summer league, the stock goes down and the hype goes down. I also said that the Spurs itself aren't a very enticing team to watch even when they had Duncan/Manu/TP. Look at Giannis, even the Bucks aren't the highest sellers. If he doesn't live up to the hype + he plays for the Spurs, the intrigue goes way down. I still think he's going to be dominant because he's further along than even Giannis was but he's not some worldwide prospect

He took 13 shots and 6 of them were 3s. He missed some easy ones, but I think he gets into a better rhythm if he's going inside out with his approach.

For the most part he was playing the right way and he was letting things come up him. He was pressing a little when he came in to close the game late in the 4th. Looked like he definitely wanted to at least get double digit scoring

He shot 80+% from FT so the shooting touch is there, I’m not overly worried about that. The problem is who does he guard defensively? Even small ball 5s will be 20+ lbs heavier than him and way stronger. He didn’t look quick enough to stay in front of any NBA caliber 4s either. He should feast on blocks early because he’s 7’4”
