His shot is is extremely streaky and inconsistent. I won’t judge him off of summer league but it’ll be interesting to see how Pops plays him because one thing that’s clear is he wants to be on the perimter on offense and I’m not sure that a winning concept for him and the Spurs. Ideally you want his presence to attract the opposition away from his teammates, not towards them.

Yea this was my biggest fear for wemby.

I don’t know about ‘bust’ but these analytics baby analysts continue to ignore that it’s a guard and wing league. You can be as skilled as you wanna be, you still ain’t more skilled than a guard, so we not running stuff through you. So they gonna pidgeon hole you to get your ass under the basket and grab some boards…and oh yea stand at the 3 point line and hit 3s *when I pass it to you*

So if you’re not good enough to be a primary guy—the list starts and stops with KAT, Embiid, Jokic, AD—-literally the elite of elite players, then you’re relegated to play the background.

Folk should go watch Kevon Looney’s HS tape. Dude has skills. But in todays game no one cares go get your ass in the post.

Chet played last summer tho. He got hurt after SL last summer. I remember him playing with Giddey
