I thought he wasn't playing in SL?
YepBeing the first draft pick can be a gift or curse.
Yep
Like I said in another post
The last 25 #1 overall picks, One is a sure fire Hall of Famer, MVP and Finals MVP (Bron) and another ONE is a League MVP once (D-Rose) and his body fell apart.
My entire 30 years of life; only 5 are Hall of Famers and AD the only sure fire current Hall of Famer
People don't have the perspective that they should
It’s a lot of pressure but what we seen so far I think he can be a good player if he gets right. He’s still young and needs to gain more muscle but that takes time with conditioning. Same with Chet, he’s way too thin. He might be like another KD or Giannis too since they both were very slim when they got in the league.
Pause and all that;
But, Giannis should open a school (like Hakeem) for skinny tall MFs to beef up
Dude is a greek gawd after being a malnourished toothpick
there's a lot of levels between the bust and finding that player... That's why I said Yao is not a bust yet, 7 years in a career and damn near 40% of games missed isn't what they wantedThe last 25 years have had exactly one of those at Number 1;
Lebron
I have a standard that makes 99% of the last 25 picks bust, despite the All-Star nods, The MVP, the stats, DPOY, the unmeasurebale "moments" they've created, the championships helped won despite only one being Finals MVP
I don't really care about the argument, but why do you keep saying he only played 7 yearsthere's a lot of levels between the bust and finding that player... That's why I said Yao is not a bust yet, 7 years in a career and damn near 40% of games missed isn't what they wanted
What they WANT is one level.. Completely wasting a pick is a bust.
ya'll cooking up these hot takes for tonight??
I don't really care about the argument, but why do you keep saying he only played 7 years

Ehhh ok yeah I guessBecause he played 7... was injured for his 8th, and played 5 games in the 9th before retiring... I'm not counting those last two years.. But if I did, that would only make it worse with my point about how they stay injured the whole time.

How long till he gets involved with fukkery
Yao was a double digit rebounder and averaged 2 blocks he could have been better for his size but he wasn’t shyttyBut Yao was also playing year-round, which lead to his injuries. He wasn't a bust, and shot like 55% from field, so he was using his height for something...but he was definitely one of those new era Cs...that are shytty rebounders and shotblockers.
