Nerlens Noel is the only player that I recall that actually had an impact on a game. Like how he played determine both the offensive and defensive end for each time. He had that impact. If I were him I'd come for a 2nd year just to rehabilitate and stuff and yeah I know his stock is high.

WACKY D'S UPDATED MOCK DRAFT: SWEET 16
1. charlotte hornets - sg ben mclemore(kansas)
2. orlando magic - cg marcus smart(oklahoma st)
3. cleveland cavaliers - sf otto porter(gtown)
4. phoenix suns - pf anthony bennett(unlv)
5. detroit pistons - sf shabazz muhammad(ucla)
6. sacramento kings - pf/c nerlens noel(kentucky)
7. new orleans pelicans - pf/c cody zeller(indiana)
8. minnesota timberwolves - sg victor oladipo(indiana)
9. washington wizards - c alex len(maryland)
10. oklahoma city thunder - pf/c isiah austin(baylor)
11. philadelphia 76ers - pf/c mason plumlee(duke)
12. charlotte hornets - sf dario saric(shgaoehydh)
13. dallas mavericks - pg michael carter-williams(syracuse)
14. utah jazz - cg c.j. mccollum(lehigh)
15. milwaukee bucks - pg trey burke(michigan)
16. phoenix suns - sg kentavious caldwell-pope(georgia)

Yea Otto on the Wizards would be perfect, with him Wall and Beal they would be good for years

washington playing their way out of the otto/shabazz sweepstakes.

they gotta either win big in the lottery or go on a losing streak. they winning too much now.

You can't tell how really good or bad the draft until you see how the players' games translate to the next level.

Thomas Robinson was supposed to be the sure-fire of last year draft. however the kings didn't even wait for his rookie year to end to trade him. Michael Beasley was supposed to be at least 3x all-star by now.

lets just wait and see

yep. alot of times, college basketball tends to hinder certain talents and overly-maximize others.

i knew t-rob wasnt going to do anything in sac-town. he never struck me as having an nba game. not for a top 5 pick at least. but hey, now we can see if he can blossom in houston, which is a better fit for dude.

meh, michael beasley has the talent. hes just not all there upstairs. not really fair to count him. thats a personal problem. but he still houses chit when he feels like it.

the only players whos nba talents couldnt be hidden this year are mclemore, smart, shabazz, porter, austin if he gains weight, and i think bennett can be rookie of the year if can play the short power forward role. phoenix finna feast on those 2 first rounders.

The NBA would still have to overturn the sale to the Hanson group. It all goes down in april... It could go either way, but it still favors Seattle at this point. The Sac deal was very rushed and thrown together.

I still think Nerlens is going number one unless Ben McLemore just wows the scouts during the pre draft workouts. An Acl injury ain't as bad as it used to be and i can see a team taking a potential franchise big man over the elite guard prospect unless he was considered to be the next MJ or Jordan or something. Though picking Nerlens is risky if he comes back athletically i think he has a very high ceiling and could improve to the point where he is a 17 or 18 point a game scorer in the NBA. He ain't Hakeem in the post but he wasnt looking like Ben Wallace neither when i saw him play.

Noel looks better and better without playing a minute, the others basically played their way out of the spot. i just cant see any of these kids impressing enough in workouts to overtake a seemingly legit big

McLemore came on a little in his last game but he was so bad in the 1st 2 rounds, looks lost

McLemore off potential alone will go top 2. This draft is kinda weak though. Seth Curry been better in the tournament than all these guys and he ain't even a lottery pick.

am i the only one who was never wowed by nerlens noel?

he didnt start to turn the corner until a few weeks before his injury.

so a guy with a busted ACL who didnt look great in college is expected to be a top 1 or 2 pick?

My Pops Forever RIP
Not posting a mock til the week before the lotto just to see if anything changes after it, but this is how I see these teams picking if any of them pick #1

1. Magic- Noel, Burke
2. Bobcats- Noel
3. Cavaliers- Noel
4. Suns- Noel, Porter, McLemore
5. Pelicans- McLemore, Porter
6. Kings- Noel, Porter, Burke
7. Pistons- Porter, McLemore
8. Wizards- Porter
9. Timberwolves- McLemore, Noel, Oladipo
10. Trail Blazers- Noel
11. 76ers- Noel
12. Thunder- Noel, McLemore
13. Mavericks- Noel, Porter, Burke
14. Jazz- Noel, Burke, Porter

@#1 pick the only team I can even possibly see taking Oladipo at #1 is my own squad because of Flip, and even that's not a slam dunk.

That said, Oladipo did a good ass job going from 17-22 to 4-9.

My money's on the Kings winning the lotto

Kings
Pistons
Magic

and so on

The draft is not always stacked with franchise players. A guy like noel gives you a guy with high motor, length, athleticism, finisher around the rim and solid help defense.

You do not need to run plays for him, for him to make an impact on a game. The key sometimes is getting impact players in a draft.

I still like Vic more than most but he isn't going to be the #1 pick in this draft. I still think he will be the best player to come out of this class.
