That's quality unintentional honesty right there. Could be a troll/idiot's mantra.

U must be really smart if u have to keep making posts about how much smarter u are than everyone else.

There's a course I used to teach on critical thinking, research, and writing. One of the "controversial" issues we engaged was whether or not college athletes should be paid. During the initial discussion, 70-80% of the students were against paying the athletes. They would catalogue their reasons as a group, and analyze them in terms of logic and emotion. Every single argument was emotional. Then they did research on their own, stripping out emotion and focusing only on facts and consistency of principles. The next week 70-80% of the class was adamantly in favor of paying the athletes. Last October -which was my final time teaching that specific course - was the first time, after research, 60-70% of the class was still against paying athletes. Their arguments and papers, regardless of the assignment, still leaned heavily on emotion. It was one of a handful of things that gave me a chilling feeling Trump was really going to win the election.
Emotion is one of the great resources white supremacy feeds off of.

To be honest we know this really only applies to Major Football and Basketball programs and maybe a couple of baseball and hockey programs...But the bottom line is don't believe that facade of a monetary value placed upon education.

Yup only a small % of college athletes would actually be getting paid.

Going into major debt for an education can be a bad thing, but I'm failing to not see the positives of a free education to any school any program. U just have to work hard and want it obviously.

fukk that, as a student if they get paid then they need to give us other students a grant worth as much as they get paid, yeah they make money for the school but we give money to the school straight up and that's why it won't ever happen (on a large scale at least) there's gonna be protests everywherw
No offense, but your worthless to an institution.

A. Are you going to give back to your Alma mater. Most Blacks don't and it's even less likely if he or she went to a PWI. For good reason too but it is what it is.

B. How much money to alums donate because Uitomy attends a random PWI? How much are fanatics will to pay or travel to see Uitomy. Does Uitomy have the ability to generate us a billion dollar television contract? If the answer is no, you are just giving the permission to attend the University. You are a nobody. You do not add value and when you do add value, is it what a wealthy donor can do in one setting? You don't have to attend the University you attend. You were accepted and choose to attend.

They can replace you and didn't really invest much into as well.

Most of the reasoning I see from you and Jalen is just hoe babble and emotional ass nikkas.

So @Walt do we take away the free tuition, free food, free living(which equals out to about 15 million a year for top programs) from all the players to then turn around and only pay the top players? If we do that then there will be plenty to pay the players and have a lot left over!

I'm still searching for answers. I get where Alabama and others get the money to pay their players. But where do these 100+ D1 schools get the money from? :bryan:Not my tuition right???:whoa:Nee answers

I keep meaning to make a thread on how these programs and institutions really work. I think even the cynical among this board would find some of the details chilling, man. The grift is next level. And the same people who can draw from never-before-tapped reserves of passion and scorn to castigate players for wanting like 5-7Gs would be happy to shake hands with the actual grifters, look them in the eye, and say "I'm so honored to meet you." People are lemmings.
Don't make a thread about it, write a Pulizter winning article about it breh. The world needs to know

Did you know that not every athlete on Alabama's football team is on a full scholarship? Some of these guys are walk-ons. That means they have to take LOANS and PAY to play for the football team while only the top guys get tuition room and board for FREE...How does that work??? :mindblown:

Amazing how white sports fans embrace communists tenets when it comes to black players getting paid.
Does anyone read my posts? I'm all for the top athletes getting paid. I'm just wondering what happens to the other 95% of the athletes
