If we're talking PURE skill-wise (no power levels involved), Vegeta is probably barely top 5.

Krillin was always using strategy to fight his enemies. Using a pair of panties to distract Master Roshi (), Grabbing Goku's tail, using math problems to confuse Chaozu so he couldn't use his powers, using diversion tactics to get those blows on Piccolo, etc. Dude straight up invented a move that can murk enemies hundreds of times stronger than he is.

Tien knows a grip of techniques that get swaggerjacked by the other Z fighters on the regular. Solar Flare, flight, etc.
The multiform technique and the Tri Beam

Piccolo's battle smarts were insane. Dude came through crafty stretching his arms and busting out those surprise eye-beams, not to mention that the Special Beam Cannon
When he trapped 17 with that Hellzone Grenade

Goku's battle smarts were also up there. Analyzing and dissecting Tien's fighting style in the 23rd, blasting guided Kamehamehas and shooting energy from his feet to stay in the fight against Piccolo jr, and ESPECIALLY that warp Kamehameha against Cell
The Cell saga may have been fueled on dumb decisions and bad writing, but that moment was still
(I'm not even stanning Goku like that. Just making a point.)

And Roshi

Dude invented the kamehameha, that weird thunder-shock move that he was sonning Goku with at the 21st, etc.

Vegeta would probably rank just behind Roshi. Roshi loses points for taking so long to invent that Kamehameha, but Vegeta's ego tends to get the better of him.
He CAN fight smart (like when he threw dirt in Zarbon's eyes), but he's too prone to catching feelings and acting on them instead of thinking situations through.

Akira hated him and wanted to off him, but decided to humiliate him and let him survive throughout the series. Vegeta was one character who felt real throughout all his imperfections which made him the realest nikka ever. Cockarot stans stan a character that has no flaws, who relates to that shyt

Vegeta went from being a mass murderer to a man who fought for others....he can get whopped a million times over and still will be that nikka bruh

First of all I don't know ANYBODY who says Goku is perfect because he's not. He's got flaws aplenty, however when it comes to this warrior life GOKU has demonstrated more true pride and determination since the age of 8 than Vegeta has in his entire pathetic life. Vegeta's "pride" is based off him having the upper hand. Soon as he doesn't he becomes a weak willed little bytch. Vegeta has gotten his ASS HANDED TO HIM in EMBARRASSING fashion in every saga. Every time it comes to being outmatched his "pride" goes out the window. Goku NEVER gives up in the face of adversity. The only time he ever truly yielded to an opponent was Cell and that was because he knew that Gohan was the one to defeat him. Think about that fact for a moment, a goddamn TWELVE YEAR OLD has more heart than Vegeta, kicked Cell's ass with a BROKEN arm and some fatherly words of encouragement Vegeta didn't even have what it took to get to SSJ2 by himself, a level that a TWELVE YEAR OLD got to. Vegeta is an opportunist, a rat who fancies himself a Prince. Took an unearned power up from an alien and STILL couldn't match Goku pound for pound. Got his ASS HANDED TO HIM by Fat Buu until his 7 year old Son bailed him out Got his ASS HANDED TO HIM by Kid Buu until Goku showed up to save the day.


Vegeta Stan's are like Jay-Z Stan's, can't admit when their guy LOST EVEN when he says it himself. Dude said straight up that Goku was stronger than him and was the BEST. Even in defeat Vegeta was learning valuable lessons that finally evened it up for him

to be fair there wasn't as major a threat in their timeline plus Piccolo wasn't around to raise Goten like he did so he grew up to be a punk as well... Goku was around for age 6-16 for Goten ................................. probably still didn't spend anytime with him though

Vegeta known all about the SS3 when Goku fought Yakon and seen that Goku kept powering up and had used enough energy easily surpassing a SS2, Vegeta then knew Goku surpassed SS2. This then infuriated the highly ascended level 2 SS Vegeta then he made the decision to let badidi control him so he can see whats up with SS3 and also why didnt Goku simply transform, knowing their had to be obvious limitations on the transformation.



Lets be real had Vegeta fought a level 3 Goku, he would had fukked him faster how did Vegeta look vs fat buu compared to SS3 Goku .......




So you chose to believe a nikka that said he could have beat fat buu after taking a one sided ass whipping from him, just like he tried to spare Vegeta's feelings/ego before getting Goku knew what was up......................
