Do helicopters have a kind of "stall" mode ? Idk if that's by the right word but can't helicopters kinda just suspend in the air without moving ? Couldn't he have done that and gently descended ? Exactly what I was thinking. Also, getting the clearance needed to fly in those conditions takes time. He was a very experienced pilot. It was likely a combination of arrogance and not wanting to say no to Kobe. Who wants to get hired by Kobe Bryant and let him of all people down?
