Him being a pastor, I'm assuming he is "conservative" because he thinks that is what being a christian is supposed to be. But if you really want to help black folks then you have to attack the economic system that is keeping us behind.

I have no problem with all black conservatives at all , especially if they are actually in black community or helping other blacks get ahead in a professional way..

The thing is, anti-blackness and downward punching class warfare are damn near the main cornerstones of the U.S conservative movement. The definition of being conservative is embracing "traditional values." Traditional American values = us being second class citizens. I can't work with conservatives because a conservative would never co-sign anything that would change outcomes for black people in the long run. They might donate a few scholarships or a community center or something like that but their ideology prevents them from putting in any serious work.
