The thing is, anti-blackness and downward punching class warfare are damn near the main cornerstones of the U.S conservative movement. The definition of being conservative is embracing "traditional values." Traditional American values = us being second class citizens. I can't work with conservatives because a conservative would never co-sign anything that would change outcomes for black people in the long run. They might donate a few scholarships or a community center or something like that but their ideology prevents them from putting in any serious work.
So how do you view King and Pastor Corey? Are they not really helping Black people since they have conservative worldview?
Only thing I know about bro is from the van latham and Roland interview. So I just know he got a school, teaching to read and write and moral and mental. Me personally, that is impressive for somebody his age. And if groups like the NOI supporting him (at least thsts his claim) then something is there. No way would they do that if they viewed his work differently. What's your metric for King Randall? We've talked about him in TLR some years back.
Yes it's nice he wants to help black kids but I'd rather see test scores and descent access to a science labs. I'm not really impressed with his classes about how to act when police pull you over.
The paraphrase statement is more in line with your 2nd paragraph. He's more referring to conservstive community organizers, not politicians.OP..
The paraphrased statement you shared is bs! Blk ppl don't have to support any Blk candidate in order to support other Blk ppl..
Progressive or conservative, if the common goal is to uplift Blk ppl and Blk youth in particular then great! It should be that way if the end goal is to improve the quality of life for the Blk collective.
I just don't rock with Blk ppl telling other lk ppl how or who they should support...
Good works will be recognized especially if it is coming from a sincere and genuine place...
I'm not talking about politicians or people who work in politics. I'm talking about the blue collar working black man with socially conservative views. It's not about seeing eye to eye. We don't have time to treat politics like silly spectator sport when you got legit, open white supremacy driving the conservative agenda in 2024. You not gonna convince me some Trump, or DeSantis, or Nikki "what do you want me to say about slavery" black conservative is someone I can trust with a pro-black agenda anymore than I woulda trusted the comfy house negro to join a plantation uprising. What, cus he loves Jesus, hates hip hop, detests gay rights, talks sweet about "tRaDitIoNal fAmIlY uNiT!!," but will VOTE for a legit white supremacist who will abolish black rights and bring about white supremacist laws, that means hes on my side politically?
I don't know why some of yall are so hellbent on convincing us black conservatives are secretly pro-black. They're sanctimonious c00ns who are holding us back and doing it with their noses up. Period.
We are a MINORITY. We have no business being conservative in a majority white nation. It makes no sense unless you have no idea how politics work and think its all sport. You are serving a political agenda that is intended to reinforce social and economic hierarchies of the majority in favor of one that fights for equal power among the people. It's that simple and there is no way to twist conservatism into some ideology of "helping Black people" or the poor as a whole.
You're talking to a wall. He was told to throw those people away.I'm not talking about politicians or people who work in politics. I'm talking about the blue collar working black man with socially conservative views.

That's the difference between black people that lean conservative vs black folks with their heads up the Democrat's ass. One is willing to do for self and the other is waiting for politicians and the government to do for them.I'm not talking about politicians or people who work in politics. I'm talking about the blue collar working black man with socially conservative views.
