Just watched ep6 last night:

They really shoehorned in the scene with the cac smashing the black jawn. I know it was meant to be funny, because he nutted so quickly, but it wasn’t. She just let dude jam his dikk in her raw after five seconds of kissing. She was moaning two pumps in, he nutted three pumps in, and she was satisfied with that. I hate the vast majority of American movie/tv sex scenes because of shyt like this.

Also, the whole “relationship” between these two characters has been extremely forced since ep1. I would say that it’s unrealistic for her pretty ass to be with such a lame, but you know their standards are lower than hell when it comes to white men. I told my girl imma just try my best to ignore their lil side story


This episode redeemed itself big time, though. The way they’ve set up Dr. Mike, and the way they created fake people and backstories following the Dale incident...WOW. That’s what we’re given on the news (which is why I stopped watching the so-called news years ago). Notice how they came up with a “theme” that every media outlet ran with, in addition to covering countless minute details in Dale’s backstory. The people in power do the same shyt in this reality, but even MORE systematic.

Just watched episode 2. That was some dumb shyt at the end. Not watching another minute. The writers thought they were being edgy; instead the show has no soul.

One of my major issues with this show in comparison with the UK version (aside from the fact the production and visual style is pedestrian as fukk while the UK version was a feast for the eyes) is with the Jessica Hyde character.

Creating a superfluous character in Sam just so she could be killed in cold blood by Jessica as a "Holy shyt!" moment shows how basic this show is because Jessica isn't just a bizarre socially awkward anti-hero now but instead is a murdering piece of shyt just like the assassins who killed all the people at the comic con and murdered Wilson Wilson's family that our band of reluctant hero nerds are running from.

Any attempts to try and make this motley crew a team of sorts will now ring false because these nerds shouldn't ever feel anything but fear and disdain for Jessica but this show is already having Becky showing empathy towards her and as a viewer I don't give a damn about Jessica's pain over finding out Mr. Rabbit killed her father because Jessica is a villain with zero redeeming qualities.

Exactly. The writing got so stupid so quickly. It's like a Lost Season 5-6 blunder happening in the second episode.

Not surprised it was cancelled. Didn’t have the same feeling of the UK version and I think I checked out after what was mentioned in the spoiler. It really served no purpose.
