You tried to be smart but gave a dumb example, and he accurately called your example out for being dumb.
My answer was a correct one.
Outside of the people I named, there are plenty of people who have unisex or unusual names.
Like the dude I went to HS school with named Shante.
There are quite a few Black men named Shante or a variation of it. There are plenty women named Shawn.
It's very common to find Black men with the "ay" sound at the end of their names. like Trevante Rhodes.
There are men named Tracy. Like DOC and Ice-T.
Everybody got along just fine before pronoun identifiers.

I used real world examples that everyone would know, fukkface.
It's incredibly stupid think that the only people who have unique or unisex names are celebrities.

You nikkas are so busy tryna be sassy that you don't think shyt through.
So that nikka weak ass reply didn't deserve a serious answer.
Think before you type, hoe ass nikka.

what are you arguing? :why:

people don't want to be misgendered so they put pronouns to dispel any confusion or incorrect assumption. that shouldn't be controversial.

The irony of the people saying being misgendered isn’t a big deal are also the same people arguing against gender fluidity and a man is a man and a woman is a woman :pachaha:

You guys keep supporting and reinforcing peoples mental illnesses and wondering why we have a mental health crisis. If you want to be "identified" by one of the 4700 new gender identities, go for it - its certainly your right but don't expect rational people to support or enable your delusions. :manny:.

In regards to the article in OP, this is a school setting. These adults are either addressing a) other faculty who are going to know who they are or b) students who should be addressing them by Mr. or Mrs. to begin with. Furthermore, these people should just identify as "dumb/idiots" because they thought it was appropriate to bring something that's currently a culture war into a religious, Christian institution. They were literally given notice that there was a new policy for email signatures and they defied it just so they can play their part in the culture war. Can't fix stupid bud. The whole identify thing is a very slippery slope. Should I start putting a little yellow star with my signature so they know who they're dealing with?

I just refer to people by their name. I'm not about to jump through no hoops over this shyt. If you want to be called Barbara, I'll call you Barbara. Word to Fabo
What if you can’t pronounce their name?

english isn’t your first language so I’ll give you a pass.

But he, him, her, she, they, and them are just normal pronouns and they are integral at that.

Let’s say you go by Misch, and I don’t know you. Someone can simply say, he will have on a green coat and will be waiting in the lobby.

Now I have a better idea than, if someone said, Misch will have on a green coat in the lobby.

Similarly, identifying your gender in your email allows for other conversations to flow seemless and use the correct tone without the need for folks to correct you by misidentifying you.

The irony here is that in OP you have a cis male and a cis female going by their typical male and female pronouns.

You’re feigning outrage. Probably because you’re repressing some fakkitry :pachaha:
