GOAT R&B Project of the 2000s? This is tough because D'Angelo's 'Voodoo' was released in 2000 wasn't it? What about 'The Emancipation of Mimi'?
:lupe:

This album isn’t even close to being the GOAT 2000s r&b project. It’s not even the best Usher album.

So many strong joints came out that decade.

Aaliyah’s red album.

Brandy’s Full Moon.

Songs In a Minor

Mary J’s The breakthrough

Mama’s Gun

TP-2.com, Chocolate Factory and Ne-Yo's In My Own Words come close to Confessions

It's 1a, 1b between Confessions and Chocolate Factory

I can agree with this. Folks really sleep on that Neyo body of work :wow:

This the content I joined for :wow:

Album damn near made me a man. That's what it's made for captures that 04 sound so well then the confessions remix with kanye that had shyne rappin from jail :ohlawd:

Breh, that album is an undeniable classic. I still wake up on a random Sunday from time to time to blast "All That You Are" as loud as I can. :wow:

whose album is that??:ohhh:

Album came out when I was barely a teenager but I went back maybe a year ago and listened to this, Because of You, and Year of the Gentleman with the :ohhh: face the entire way through. Ne-Yo doesnt get the recognition he deserves.

In My Own words was the soundtrack to my high school years. made so many memories off those songs :wow:

This is better than 8701? :usure:

YES! :gucci:

I like pretty much every song but "Truth Hurts" will forever be my shyt.

"Throwback" and "That's What It's Made For" are the other two who are above the others for me.

"Burn" is the most skippable but it's still a good song.

Great album man. This shyt and 8701 were back to back championships. I really wish usher would go back to JD to write and produce another classic but thats the reason usher cant have the crown because his best work isnt written by him.

All the songs yall listed were my favorites back then but a few years later simple things became my favorite grown man song
That's never been criteria for r&b
