:gucci: why deflect?
Offense and defense. Trump is on the offensive side of the ball and apparently there is no defense. My sarcasm is also disappointment. CBC who act like they are for certain demographics are not doing shyt about shyt. :francis: You can go through my old posts and I have been saying the same thing since CRT was being banned in schools. The fact that they are making it happen which no objections, hurdles, and nothing.

Make better assumptions.
Make better comments. You may or may not have been joking but its a number of knuckleheads on here who swear the Democrats are terrible and have nothing to say about Republicans that don’t amount to more than hesitant support or casual indifference. Some of those people swear they only care about black progress but have no desire to speak negatively on literal nazis in office. Anytime some if this goofy shyt happens on account of this government, any deflections like your post is immediately suspect.

Say what you want but don’t ever become one of the butthurt bytches talmbout “Why yall blaming black folks” if someone mentions tangibles. Mentioning the CBC is literally the same thing.

It's really a matter of perception. Mentioning the CBC is not the same as you described. They are elected officials who also run on the platform of helping people and that includes raising money. Meanwhile, when shyt happens nothing is said. I'm not a bothsider but I understand them. Democratic themselves ran on the platform of being more level-headed with a higher sense of morals between the two parties. People are upset because they thought Dems were better than what they actually have been displaying. For example, the mid-terms during Trump's first presidency. The slogan was "Vote Blue No Matter Who" to get Dems in congress to fight Trump. The people listened and once they got back into office, they re-elected old leadership and it was business as usual. In other words, people get more upset from the dishonest a$$hold versus the deliberate one.

Above the fray.
@OperationNumbNutts

The CBC likely introduced and brokered the scholarship program between the USDA and the Land-grant schools.
Members have tried to make the funding permanent since then
Both times likely encountering opposition against them.

Their effectiveness on this issue and others is based on the makeup of Congress and what kind of leverage/relationships their members have.

A CBC member ran for president in 2024. How less powerful is the caucus today under Trump(& Rep. majoriy Senate and Congress) than if Harris had won?

Also, what type of hurdles/pushback would you like to see from them over Trump's dismantling of diversity programs?

they should promise to hold their breaths until the republicans say they won't use their unchecked power to do the things they campaigned on.

I would like to see the same pushback AIPAC would do if their interests are not meet. :manny: It's an example so don't turn around and say the make up of both organizations are different. Like I said in another post. There is no defense from the very people who were elected and emphasized a specific niche. Just sitting back and watching.

I can say from personal experience this scholarship helped ALOT of brehs/brehettes that attended HBCUs in the government.

Basically a free ride in college and the 4 years you work in the government, you move up to a GS-12 by the end (currently $99,200 salary in the DMV area)

:wow:

They've been trying to get rid of it for a min too...very sad
This why I always advocate for black people to organize and control their resources. They simply can't be trusted to do the right thing where we're involved.
