Come on breh, CC is needed with any and everything pertaining to women's basketball right now. I like Angel Reese just as much as the next guy and gal, but y'all gotta cease and desist with all this frontin' on CC . Say what you want about her, she simply brings in numbers period.
Breh I'm a Caitlin Clark fan, anybody can go look up any of my posts giving her props and she's why I even paid attention to women's college ball then some WNBA. I like Reese too, but my point was CC is not needed to win a gold medal. I get the point about her bringing eyeballs, nobody is denying that. I'm just saying what good will it do to bring her on if she WON'T PLAY? Or not even impact the game like that/get garbage minutes. I haven't gotten an answer to that question yet.
She brings attention wherever she goes. If she hit a step back deep 3 in garbage time, we would all get an ESPN alert about it
And that's great for her, but what does that do to ultimately boost the women's game overall like people are claiming it would? CC's fans are CC fans they don't really give af about anybody else and didn't know women's basketball existed before her. Still doesn't answer my question about what good will it do for the team/women's basketball on an international level if she isn't impacting the game. Garbage minutes are garbage minutes and that's still not enough for people who want to watch her do her thing for a long period, that shyt doesn't matter if they're up by 20 and she makes a deep 3. No I can accept the opposing point, I already acknowledged she would bring in views. I just don't see the impact in her playing garbage minutes, it just wouldn't move the needle enough in my opinion. Appointment tv is turning it on when she starts the game and plays most of the game.
