Show is . They took ideas from like 5-6 cancelled shows and tried to make them into one show.

Did we see a flash of them wearing some kind of "clean room" suits at the end? Maybe they're literally working at the factory building those drones.

I'm suspecting that the aliens came and left and that the Mayor of the block in LA and other humans that collaborated with them are just using leftover technology to stay in power.

That's an interesting theory. They did seem to hint that they are still there though, in the scene w/the guy who recruited Sawyer. He took him out on the balcony and showed that large beam shooting down from the sky and hinted at something bigger to come.

The wife is part of the resistance movement who is fighting against the occupation, which is why she is leaking intel to them from her husband.

That's an interesting theory. They did seem to hint that they are still there though, in the scene w/the guy who recruited Sawyer. He took him out on the balcony and showed that large beam shooting down from the sky and hinted at something bigger to come.

Maybe the aliens left the humans totally in charge, and just make them beam up some kind of tribute to them every week.

But I thing the "invasion fleet" is long gone.

No, he has no clue about the resistance. He's just hiding his pre-invasion identity because apparently everyone with his position in the military was hunted down back then as a potential threat.

But I thing the "invasion fleet" is long gone.

I could definitely see that happening as a sort of twist, that they have left. At least for now, with plans to possibly return as I imagine they would have had to come to Earth for some reason in the 1st place.

His wife seems to be over her head and now his son is involved in some mess

The kid's tutor is creepy. I remember her from Alphas, underrated show.

I think they are focused on the neighborhood of Will's character and not take a global look.

I did not see Will's boss getting got like that.

Just got caught up. The girl that went through the old tunnel under the wall mentioned that there were no people at all left on the other side. The invasion may have been like a reverse "Independence Day" where walls were built around LA and other major cities, and everyone outside got neutron bombed or something.
