Japanese aren't nearly the cutthroat capitalist so there stands a chance of potential grace for current workers...If anything this move could benefit them and the average industrial/manufacturing worker but we'll see..Hopefully they don't contract one of these large firms to mostly manage and run the state side operations but I doubt it..
Nikka your politicians are foreign owned. Why wouldnt your companies beIt should be illegal to sell certain companies to foreign interests. Our largest steel company should not be foreign owned.
The elites continue to hemorrhage this country's manufacturing base and allow hedge funds/Chinese buy up housing. Throw in cultural wars to distract, not sure where this country is headed.
HajimasteKonnichiwa.
the same Japan that's worn its workers down so badly that they've given up on p*ssy?Japan aren't nearly the cutthroat capitalist so there stands a chance of potential grace for current workers...
America's elites are libertarians in a way. They're economic leftists but are "socially conservative" and anti black. They have more in common with Indians and Asians tbh. It's why they're so pro immigration and love outsourcing shyt. As long as they're making a lot of money, they will gladly offshore shyt. Been happening since the 1970s.
just as biden is building back america those fools sell the company providing vital material to those building products.
My uncles (plural) still works at at the Gary plant and one is in burns harbor. I live in Northwest Indiana. I wonder how this is going to look in a few years.Japan poses no clear and present danger to the us' national security. This will go thru.
US Steel has sizable operations in Gary (my family backbone), Pittsburgh obviously, Alabama, East Chicago, Illinois, Detroit, and a few in Texas. I really hope we don't see job losses.
To be clear, we aren't just talking about down and dirty factory workers. My uncle started as that just like my grandfather's at the Gary Works plant, dude was in gangs (the Terrytown Rangers) back in the day...he worked his way up and studied and became a chemist for a period of time and in leadership. He's retired of course and during great today, and splits time between Gary and Atlanta where my cousin lives.
Because of them, me and my cousin could go to college and live our lives and my dad and mom could go to IU as first gen graduates.
