US Steel has sizable operations in Gary (my family backbone), Pittsburgh obviously, Alabama, East Chicago, Illinois, Detroit, and a few in Texas. I really hope we don't see job losses.
To be clear, we aren't just talking about down and dirty factory workers. My uncle started as that just like my grandfather's at the Gary Works plant, dude was in gangs (the Terrytown Rangers) back in the day...he worked his way up and studied and became a chemist for a period of time and in leadership. He's retired of course and during great today, and splits time between Gary and Atlanta where my cousin lives.
Because of them, me and my cousin could go to college and live our lives and my dad and mom could go to IU as first gen graduates.

Crazy thing is both the right and left are fighting for and against different aspects of what’s happening. Birthright citizenship needs to be reworked but the left will fight it. Certain assets shouldn’t be for sale to foreign entities but the right only cares about their investments.
